Seminar Description:
"What is the next asbestos?" is an unanswerable rhetorical question that has been posted at reinsurance seminars around the world over the past decade. Our program will formulate a partial response with its focus on four principal topics: Capital Markets & Reinsurance (discussing ILW, collateralized re and sidecars, investor impact); Life Re & Annuities (exploring prevalent issues spawning prodigious disputes); The Property Cat Market (profiling this year's considerable storm and wildfire activity); The Product Matrix (a look at four types of product exposures and recent large U.S. verdicts). Four panels of experts will address these issues and take questions in advance of a cocktail reception to include all attendees."
