Career Mapping

In this activity, volunteers work with youth in a relaxed one-on-one or small group setting, discussing future goals and plans. Volunteers encourage the youth to think about and explore ways to reach their long-term goals by creating a step-by-step or general plan with them. Volunteers often share their own job experiences, steps on their employment journey, lessons learned, and answer any questions that the youth may have about the workforce.  No special skills are required of the volunteers, other than a willingness to engage with and listen to the youth with an open heart.

Our address: 460 West 41st Street New York, NY 10036. Please use the entrance on 40th Street.
