The insurance marketplace has profoundly changed in recent decades by an influx of capital and data analytics. Throughout this change, the demographic profile and skill set of the workforce has stayed relatively constant. As the pace of change continues to accelerate, a new face of the insurance industry is emerging. With increased focus to think and act globally, diversity and inclusion in the workplace has become critical.  Join us to hear seasoned industry executives discuss their thoughts on the changes in the marketplace, what they look for when evaluating new talent, and how they believe young people can prepare themselves for a career in insurance.

Our panel will include:

  • Jay Woods – Managing Director, co-chair of Mutual Company Specialty Practice, Guy Carpenter
  • Chris Larson – Global Head of Casualty & US Multiline, QBE Re
  • Susan Johnson - Head of Diversity and Inclusion, The Hartford

The panel will be moderated by Sandy Locke - HR Business Leader, North America, Guy Carpenter.

This event will begin at 5:30 pm followed by a reception from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.  We ask that attendees arrive and register in the lobby at least fifteen minutes prior to the event.

There is no charge for this event thanks to our host and sponsor, Guy Carpenter & Marsh and McLennan Companies.
