With property catastrophe rates rising, new risks presented by renewable energy technology, and the rising threat of increased environmental litigation, there is no area of the insurance industry that is not impacted by climate change and the energy transition. These changes have created challenges such as increased losses due to secondary perils, but they also open the door for the insurance industry to innovate and create solutions that provide financial security to our clients in their greatest moments of need.
As the future leaders of the (re)insurance industry, we would like to alert you to an organization called InnSure Corps that can complement the network you are building through RE40s and provide you with supplementary programing focused on the challenges and opportunities presented by climate change. InnSure Corps is a multi-disciplinary membership program for existing and emerging leaders at the intersection of insurance, climate adaptation, and energy transition focused ecosystems.
