Speakers:
- Steve Dresner (President, Everspan Group): Steve has nearly 40 years of experience working in program business and surplus lines. He previously served as Everspan's Chief Underwriting and Reinsurance Officer. During his career, Steve has managed both individual risk and delegated underwriting platforms at Crum & Forster, Endurance Specialty and GenRe. Steve has built his expertise in the program space as both an insurance and reinsurance executive where he has underwritten a broadly-based book of business which included property, casualty and professional related exposures.
- Nicholas Scott (General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, Everspan Group): Having served as in-house counsel to both large international and start-up insurance operations, Nick has substantial legal, regulatory, compliance, Enterprise Risk Management, corporate governance, and claims management experience. Nick joined Everspan from Spinnaker Insurance, a pioneering participatory fronting carrier, where he built and enforced MGA/TPA operational oversight processes in addition to managing the company’s legal, claims and regulatory affairs. Nick’s (re)insurance industry experience includes serving as counsel to QBE North America’s reinsurance and program/MGA operations and as a reinsurance claims executive for Beazley Syndicate.
