2020 presented unique challenges and insights into how extreme events should be viewed and managed. The worldwide economy was impacted by a global “tail” event that was viewed as improbable and may not have received the proper attention and response from all sectors of society. As the pandemic spread around the globe, natural catastrophic events continued to ravage all parts of the world. The 2021 RAA Catastrophe Management Conference will use the events of 2020 as a learning tool to address how the risk transfer market should view and manage events that reside in the tail of loss curve. World-renowned experts will share their views on what we’ve learned and what we can do differently.
Join the RAA for the 2021 conference on March 22-24. The three-day virtual program is for professionals from all disciplines interested in catastrophe risk management. The morning sessions will feature general sessions with leading industry experts. Afternoon breakout sessions will examine a wide range of topics. Sessions are designed for a broad range of risk management professionals, from novice to expert.
Please Note: All sessions will be pre-recorded and made available before and after the conference. This will allow attendees to watch the recordings on their own if the scheduled session time conflicts with something else on their calendar. During the conference, we will play a recording of each session. General sessions will have a live Q&A with the speakers immediately following the presentation. Breakout session speakers will answer questions via the chat function.
