Learn about insurer receiverships and insolvencies from experienced Foley attorneys, who regularly represent insurers, reinsurers, and other interested parties in insurer and reinsurer receivership and insolvency cases. We will cover the basics of the insolvency process, including receivership, rehabilitation, and liquidation. Additionally, we will discuss how insurer receiverships and liquidations differ from the bankruptcy laws that other companies are subject to. We will also explore interesting issues in reinsurer insolvencies and the effect of insurer insolvencies on reinsurers.
Afterwards, join Foley's subject matter experts in insurer and reinsurer receiverships, as well as fellow insurance and reinsurance professionals from the Chicago area, for a networking happy hour provided by Foley.
