2020 has surely been an unprecedent year experiencing a multitude of events in all regions and no exception to Riots and Civil Commotion. PCS has designated for the first time in history the current riots as a multiple state SRCC (strike, riot, civil commotion) event. More precisely, over twenty states are experiencing significant damages. The impact of the ongoing Riots and Civil Commotion across U.S. cities is strongly being felt by commercial and retail businesses; resulting in significant property losses.
This SRCC event is potentially creating cumulative losses effect to the industry and of becoming a capital event.
