RE40s Chicago is hosting a networking and charity event for Cradles to Crayons at AceBounce in Chicago on August 10th! Join us for ping pong, drinks, and food from 5-8pm. Huge thank you to Everest, Lockton, and Munich Re for sponsoring the event!
Did you know that 1 in 2 children in Chicago experience poverty? Cradles to Crayons® leads the way in filling an unrecognized yet critical gap in services for families in low-income and poverty situations. They recognize that basic needs such as weather- appropriate clothing, shoes, and books are as important as food and shelter. By providing these items, Cradles to Crayons enables children to participate more fully in school and life activities while also relieving their parents’ stress.
RE40s wants to help! All we ask in order to attend the event is either a physical donation (items from the attached list) that you bring to the event or a virtual donation via their Amazon Wish List (this can be done in advance with a receipt or onsite at the event). Donation Guidelines are also attached. Tax receipts can be provided just reach out to Kali Bell. We will be collecting donations through the end of August.
