Bill Donnell, President of US P&C, Swiss Re
Bill is responsible for all treaty and facultative business and their offerings. Prior to this role, Bill led Swiss Re's Property and Casualty Facultative business across the Division - including the United States and Canada. Bill joined Swiss Re following the acquisition of GE Insurance Solutions (GEIS) in June 2006. During his eight years with GEIS, Bill served as Chief Marketing Officer, Global Casualty Product Leader and President of Specialty Commercial Lines. Bill has nearly three decades of industry experience specializing in property and casualty (re) insurance. Bill received a bachelor's degree in management and labor relations from Colorado State University and completed the Kellogg Executive Program at Northwestern University. He holds both the CPCU and ARM designations.
John Tedeschi, Head of Analytics, Guy Carpenter
As Head of GC Analytics, John provides strategic direction, thought leadership, and operations management for the analytical resources supporting the North and South America regions. John assists Guy Carpenter brokers and GC Analytics colleagues with the design and pricing of significant property and casualty reinsurance programs. Prior to joining Guy Carpenter in 1994, John was a ceded reinsurance actuary at Royal Insurance, a worldwide carrier. He began his career with NCCI as a reserving actuary. John is an active member of the Casualty Actuarial Society and is invited regularly to speak at industry conferences. He graduated from Fordham University with a degree in mathematics. He is a previous board member of the International Society of Catastrophe Managers. John is an associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
